Purple Violet Tea
Be still my heart ~ Purple! You will see that I favor purple touches throughout my gardens. The theme of my website is purple, so I have begun your choice of teas with our Purple violets. You will see the pattern of purple violets on fine bone china with purple cut crystal plates and goblets. Desserts and floral will reflect the purple floral theme throughout the afternoon tea. Enjoy touches of vintage china and crystal which will create an elegant and lovely tea experience. At Taking Time for tea we pride ourselves on creating an "experience" for you and your guests, your desserts will match your china.
Pink Rose Tea
What woman or little girl does not love pink and I have yet to find a woman that doesn't love roses. Our Pink Rose Tea is the perfect combination of both. With Moss Rose fine bone china you will have luscious multi-colored pink roses washing over the table. We layer the plates with a pink crystal scalloped plate which creates a billowy soft cloud-like effect of pink. We top that off with a small Noritake Royal Pink fine bone china soft pink edged plate with thick gold edging. Many gorgeous vintage pink crystal accent pieces add touches of elegance. We take pride in pairing the desserts and floral to match your choice of china that will carry this rose theme throughout the tea.
Pink Depression Glass
Beautiful 1920's pink depression glass ~ exquisite!!! A square plate in the Ellis floral pattern from 222 Fifth ~ adds a rich display of colors that complement this beautiful peachy pink glass.
The linens and accent pieces are vintage as well. You are served tea from a sterling silver tea pot.
Desserts and scones are blended to match the pink theme ~ Exquisitely Lovely!!
If you feel peaceful around the color yellow, you will love our yellow table setting. Flintridge Sylvan Yellow bone china with thick gold edging is layered over a crystal carved glass plate with a frosted center, vintage yellow depression glass Florentine and my grandmother's vintage fine bone china Noritake Naomi tea cup and saucer (gifted to me by my sister Laurie) from 1948 create a soft, lovely setting. You will see other touches of yellow in the vintage table cloth and napkins, desserts and floral ~ reflecting the yellow theme. So soft and gentle, yellow will bring added peace to your special day with us.
Cobalt Blue and White
If you have always loved blue and white, you will enjoy our place setting of Cobalt blue glass layered over a crystal carved plate with frosted center. Topped with Grace bone china with a raised edge in white on white and silver edging.
There is a combination of Grace china and Peony Blue and White Floral fine bone china tea cups dating from 1912 to 1948. Sterling silver tea pot and also a blue and white tea pot top off the table with so many other beautiful touches. The Blue and White theme will be continued through the food and floral to make it a heavenly experience.
If you love Cobalt Blue and White ~ you will absolutely love this! *We can do 18 in this one color.

These Peony tea cups are so unique and lovely with a scalloped saucer filled with pattern. The depth of the deep blue is exquisite.
I have paired it with the incredible cream and sugar to the left, which stand alone in beauty and splendor.
Soft Blue Rose
For a soft blue table setting, this lovely addition to our tea room would be exquisite! The Noritake "Virtue" pattern (gifted to me by my sweet sister-in-law Linda) is a large single rose which we have paired for your table setting with a cut crystal floral salad plate and icy blue blown crystal water goblets.
While summer may give us some warm steamy days, inside at Taking Time for Tea, you can be feeling cool with the cool blue shade of this beautiful rose.
Silver and White ~ This is a gorgeous table setting that would be beautiful any time of year
